Why visit OTS 2017?

Why visit OTS 2017?

Published: 26/04/2017

There are actually hundreds of reasons (and brands) to visit the UK’s largest outdoor trade show, OTS 2017, which will take place from Tuesday 11th to Thursday 13th July 2017 at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.

Here are just five good reasons to visit:

  • New July dates - feedback received by exhibitors and a variety of retailers at last year’s event indicated that an earlier show would be preferable and more in-line with order deadlines - so the 2017 show will be taking place in July for the first time in its 12 year history! As a result of the move, many of last year’s exhibitors have rebooked and some have even significantly increased the size of their stands for this year’s show, including Bradshaw Taylor, Craghoppers, Lyon Equipment, Mountain Boot Company and Regatta.
  • One-stop Shop - the annual show not only provides exhibiting companies with a fantastic opportunity to showcase their product ranges to over 1,000 retail visitors, but during the three day event, retail visitors can browse through hundreds of products from brands presenting clothing, footwear and accessory products in the exhibition halls at the same time as tents and awnings on display outdoors.
  • New Brands Area - this has been a popular part of the show for the last few years, and although the area isn’t new, the brands are! The dedicated area ultimately provides smaller brands an opportunity to break into the market and showcase their new products to retailers looking to add to their mix. There are also several first time exhibitors at the show this year, including Berghaus, Dolomite/Scott Running, Falke, Mammut and Outdoor Research.
  • UK Outdoor Industry Awards 2018 - returning to OTS for the third year in a row, all products entered into the 2018 awards will be on display at the show for retailers to check out and vote for the most innovative new products to the outdoor market across all ten categories. The finalists will then be announced at the OTS Party, which presents a fantastic networking opportunity for retailers and exhibitors to get together at the end of a hard day of buying and selling.
  • Free… entrance to OTS 2017 is free, includes free on-site parking and couldn’t be easier to get to, thanks to the Stoneleigh Park venue being centrally located and conveniently close to all transport links.
